Today you and I will find ourselves in a wonderful country where not only flowers can talk, but even Easter cakes, Easter eggs and Curd Easter also talk.
The home of the Curd Easter stood in the centre of a rose meadow where lots of roses grew. The Easter Cake, the Easter Egg and the Curd Easter, Mum Olga and Grandma Rita were in the most mysterious room of the house — the tenth room. It contained the most valuable books of the marvellous country and some unusual porcelain eggs that the Easter Egg had brought today. Grandma Rita opened the old book and saw a beautiful drawing of an Easter necklace. She showed the drawing to mum Olga. Olga was amazed by the beauty of the necklace.
– How beautiful! — she said.
When the Easter Egg heard this, he opened a cupboard containing a beautiful porcelain egg, took it out and gave it to Olga. The porcelain egg had a secret, inside there was an Easter necklace and a beautiful Easter pendant. The necklace consisted of Easter charms. Each charm was made in the shape of an Easter egg, some of them had beautiful flowers on them. A few of the Easter charms were made of milky amber. The Easter pendant was very beautiful as well – in the shape of an Easter egg made from a charming selenite stone.
– These are your Easter presents! — said the Easter Egg and gave the necklace to Olga and the pendant to Margarita.
Mum Olga and Grandma Rita were very pleased with the presents. But it is even nicer to give gifts! And they gave a whole basket of gifts to the Easter Egg, Easter Cake, and Curd Easter.
Olga decided to wear the necklace at home, so she put it in a nice bag. Margarita and Olga went home. Grandma Rita decided to call in to Olga’s mum’s house as Grandpa Kolya was visiting her at that time. Olga and Margarita stopped at the rose meadow that is one of the most beautiful places in the wonderful country. All known and unknown kinds and varieties of roses grow there. The delicate fragrance of roses permeated everything around. Olga did not notice that the bag was torn by a rose thorn and the necklace fell next to the red rose. Olga and Margarita came home.
– Olga, try on your beautiful Easter necklace, — said Margarita.
Zhenya and Grandpa Kolya came to see the present. Mum Olga opened the bag and saw that the necklace was gone.
– I’ve lost my Easter necklace! — Olga was upset.
Everyone began to console her and decided to find the necklace. Mum Olga, Grandma Rita, Grandpa Kolya and Zhenya came to the rose meadow. They searched all around, but there was no necklace!
A Red Rose was watching them carefully. She liked the necklace very much and decided to keep it for herself. She imagined how her beautiful red petals would match the necklace. She was so reluctant to give it away! However, she saw how upset everyone was! You can’t make happiness out of someone else’s misfortune. The Rose gave the necklace back. Everyone was happy! But the Rose was happiest of all, because she had done the right thing. Olga gave an Easter present to the Rose, she decorated her with miniature Easter jewellery. The Rose became even more beautiful!
