EMIN TEAMS UP WITH ANDREA CORR FOR NEW SINGLE “WHEN YOU WERE SWEET SIXTEEN”

International recording artist EMIN today releases his new single “When You Were Sweet Sixteen”, a stirring reimaging of the beloved Irish standard, recorded as a special duet with Andrea Corr and arriving just in time for St Patrick’s Day celebrations. Listen HERE.

The release offers the first full glimpse into EMIN’s forthcoming album Maybe Tomorrow, a new studio project arranged and produced by 16-time GRAMMY® Award-winning producer and composer David Foster. The album out 27th March is available to pre-order now HERE.

Bringing together two distinctive voices across generations, the track sees Corr’s unmistakable Celtic tone meet EMIN’s orchestral pop sensibility transforming the traditional ballad into a cinematic, contemporary recording. The collaboration also marks the first time the pair have recorded together despite sharing stages and collaborators across their international careers.

Featuring 12 newly recorded songs, Maybe Tomorrow reinterprets a hand-picked selection of personal favourites spanning decades and genres, all unified by Foster’s sweeping orchestral arrangements. The album includes previously released duet “Somethin’ Stupid” with Amanda Holden, alongside further collaborations with Richard Marx and Sheila E.

EMIN says: “David Foster pitched the song and when I heard it I said David we are definitely going to record it. Listen to what turned out…”

Andrea Corr adds: “Thank you so much for asking me to be part of your beautiful record. I loved singing Sweet Sixteen with you.”

The record moves effortlessly from alternative classics including a heartfelt take on the Stereophonics’ “Maybe Tomorrow” to some of the most recognisable love songs ever written, from the Love Story theme to Perry Como’s “It’s Impossible”, “A Song For You” and “I’ll Never Fall In Love Again.” The album also reunites EMIN with Richard Marx on a new interpretation of the global hit “Right Here Waiting.”

David Foster comments: “these are some of the world’s best known and best loved songs, and EMIN has put his own unique touch on each and every track.”

Maybe Tomorrow follows EMIN and Foster’s Elvis-inspired album Now or Never and continues their creative partnership exploring timeless songwriting through a modern lens. When asked about a potential third project, EMIN teases: “I certainly hope so. If not today… maybe tomorrow.”

Across an almost 20-year international career, EMIN has released more than 20 albums, earned multiple international awards and performed worldwide including appearances alongside Jennifer Lopez and stadium tours with Take That.

With “When You Were Sweet Sixteen” arriving for St Patrick’s Day and a star-studded album to follow, Maybe Tomorrow positions EMIN at the centre of a renewed global appetite for orchestral pop and classic songwriting bridging heritage repertoire with contemporary audiences.
