On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War Embassy of Russia in Ireland publishes on its web-site exhibition of wartime photos by Soviet News Agency TASS reporters<\/a><\/h4>\n

Photographs cover the period 1941-1945. The first photo of the exhibition depicts Moscow citizens listening to radio message about the attack of Nazi Germany on the Soviet Union.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The famous reporters who worked during the Great Patriotic War, fulfilled their duties in difficult battle-front conditions, neglecting danger, are Yevgeny Khaldei, Mark Redkin, Leonid Velikzhanin, Max Alpert, Sergey Loskutov, Emmanuil Yevzerikhin, Nikolay Sitnikov, Vasily Egorov, Rafail Mazelev, Vladimir Ivanov, Boris Utkin, Leonid Dorensky and others.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Photographs taken by Soviet News Agency TASS reporters became the annals of the Great Victory, and some of them became its symbol.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

One of the most famous wartime photographs are \u201cBattalion Commander\u201d by Max Alpert and \u201cStandard of the Victory on the roof of the Reichstag\u201d by Yevgeny Khaldei.<\/p>\n
