Customs:
\nThe EU and UK want an \u201cambitious customs arrangements\u201d; \u201cenvisage making use of all available facilitative arrangements and technologies\u201d; and are ready to consider \u201cmutual recognition of trusted traders\u2019 programmes, administrative cooperation in customs matters and mutual assistance, including for the recovery of claims related to taxes and duties.\u201d<\/p>\n
Northern Ireland:
\n\u201cThe Parties recall their determination to replace the backstop solution on Northern Ireland by a subsequent agreement that establishes alternative arrangements for ensuring the absence of a hard border on the island of Ireland on a permanent footing.\u201d

Level playing field:
\n\u201cProvisions to ensure this should cover state aid, competition, social and employment standards, environmental standards, climate change, and relevant tax matters.\u201d<\/p>\n
Transition period :
\nSeparately, EU and UK would agree that the post-Brexit transition period could be extended once \u201cfor up to one or two years\u201d and Britain would have to go on contributing to the bloc\u2019s budget accordingly.<\/p>\n
Other:
